MacKillop in the Community

MacKillop in the Community

What sorts of things does MacKillop do in the community?

As Tuggeranong's only systemic secondary school, St Mary MacKillop College seeks to play an important role in the wider community. The College reaches out to the surrounding systemic primary schools, community groups, and sporting clubs.

MacKillop supports these schools and groups by providing student assistance, sharing its facilities, running professional development, sharing the expertise of its teachers, and running sports clinics and carnivals.

Some of the groups with which MacKillop has built links include the Australian Catholic University, Calwell Swans AFL Club, and GWS Giants. In addition, MacKillop enjoys a very healthy relationship with the systemic primary schools.

If you are seeking to build a connection with the College, please contact the Community Project Officers, Mr Paul Durham and Ms Lyndall de Ambrosis, on 6209 0100.
