Welcome to College Sport in 2023! On top of the Swimming and Athletics Carnivals, MacKillop participates in the interschool competitions that generally take the format of one-day gala style events.
The sports calendar provides the anticipated weeks for each of the sporting teams that will represent MacKillop in 2023.
Year 12 students run an after-school sport program for students at the Padua Campus. Students are invited to participate regardless of experience or ability.
The MacKillop Judo Club operates at our Padua Campus in Wanniassa. Sessions cater for all levels, from beginners, to international competitors and Olympians.
Engarde at MacKillop gives students of the College, as well as external members, a chance to participate in the sport of fencing. The club holds training sessions at the Padua Campus.
St Mary of the Cross MacKillop made the statement: “We are but travellers here, so while we are here we should do as much good as we can and live in peace with each other.”
With this in mind, the College respectfully acknowledges the Ngunnawal people who are the Traditional Custodians and First People of the land on which we gather each day. The College also pays its respects to the Elders past, present and emerging, and any other Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander peoples living and working in the MacKillop community.
