    A welcome from the captains

Welcome! We’re Ben and Charlotte, the 2026 College Captains here at St Mary MacKillop College, and it’s our pleasure to welcome you to our wonderful school.

Every student’s journey at MacKillop looks a little different. Our interests, strengths, and pathways vary, but what is common to everyone’s MacKillop experience is the sense of joy and positivity in our community, the huge range of opportunities, and high-quality teaching. We’re fortunate to learn in an environment where teachers are passionate, supportive, and deeply committed to helping every student thrive.

So much of what makes MacKillop special comes from our strong Catholic values and our healthy culture, which places love, wellbeing, and respect at the centre of everything. This creates a school where people from all walks of life can come together, learn from one another, and work toward a better future. It’s a place strengthened and enriched by diversity, compassion, innovation, and critical thinking. It's a remarkable place to grow and learn, and that’s why we love being part of this community!

So, whoever you are, and wherever you’re coming from, our school welcomes you. We can’t wait to see you on campus!
