Captains elected for 2026

College and Portfolio Election

Charlotte MacLeod and Benjamin Porter of Year 11 have been named the 2026 College Captains following the first round of SRC Elections at the St Peter’s Campus.

The election, held on Wednesday 24 September, saw 37 candidates present their case as they hoped to be elected to one of seven positions on offer. Three candidates, who are on the current Tour of Greece and Italy, sent in their speeches by video.

As part of the election process, each of the candidates attended a workshop, completed a written application, and sat an interview before delivering their speech to the St Peter’s Campus on the day of elections. The standard of candidates was extremely high and the College congratulates them on the way they all approached the application process.

The results in each category were close, with many positions going down to final preferences before the successful candidate could be determined.

The College congratulates the successful candidates:

  • College Captains – Charlotte MacLeod and Benjamin Porter
  • Faith & Community Captain – Matthew Andrew
  • Sports Captain – Shaun Drazevich
  • Performing Arts Captain – Melodie Russell
  • Sustainability Captain – Ailys Dulguime
  • Communications & Connections Captain – Ethan Caffery Caragh

Congratulations to all candidates, particularly the seven students who were successful in gaining a College or Portolio position.

We wish next year's leaders the best of luck for 2026!
