Gurabang and Ngadyung win 2014 Athletics Carnival

Gurabang and Ngadyung houses took out the cups for this year's Athletics Carnival, which was held at the Australian Institute of Sport's Athletics Track on Tuesday 20 May.

Students got involved by dressing up in their House themes, cheering throughout the day, participating in track and field events, and taking part in novelty events.

In the end, Gurabang was awarded the Championship Cup, bringing to an end Ngadyung's seven-year run as Athletics Champions. That they took out the title by only eight points showed how closely-fought this year's carnival was.

Ngadyung did manage to take home silverware, in the form of the Spirit Cup, which rewarded their participation and spirit on the day.

Congratulations to all students for their high level of participation, spirit, and displays of athleticism.
