Alexander Brooks and Mae Sefian of Year 11 have been named the 2027 College Captains following the first stage of SRC Elections at the St Peter’s Campus.

The election, held on Wednesday 23 September, saw 33 candidates present their case as they hoped to be elected to one of seven positions on offer. One candidates, who is on the current Tour of France and Belgium, had to present their speech by video.

As part of the election process, each of the candidates attended a workshop, completed a written application, and sat an interview before delivering their speech to the St Peter’s Campus on the day of elections. The standard of candidates was extremely high and the College congratulates them on the way they all approached the application process. 

The results in each category were close, with many positions going down to final preferences before the successful candidate could be determined.

• Performing Arts Captain – Natasha Bonney
• Sustainability Captain – Reta Elfadil Musa
• Communications & Connections Captain – Matthew Hoskinson
