Construction work will soon commence on the highly-anticipated Performing Arts Centre at the St Peter’s Campus and a second Physical Education facility at the Padua Campus.
These two projects will provide the College with modern facilities and resources to underpin the teaching and learning of Performing Arts and PE as well as the co-curricular opportunities in both areas.
The Performing Arts Centre will include a 376 fixed-seat theatre (with room for 100 temporary seats), a dance room, drama room, music rooms, recording studio, change rooms, makeup space, general-purpose classroom, kitchen, and staffroom.
The PE facility will feature two indoor basketball courts, an outdoor court, three classrooms, a fitness centre, change rooms, and a PE staffroom.
The new buildings are due for completion in September 2024 and will be advantageous for many generations of students attending MacKillop.
The construction has been planned to ensure minimal impact on teaching and learning over the duration of the project.

St Mary of the Cross MacKillop made the statement: “We are but travellers here, so while we are here we should do as much good as we can and live in peace with each other.”
With this in mind, the College respectfully acknowledges the Ngunnawal people who are the Traditional Custodians and First People of the land on which we gather each day. The College also pays its respects to the Elders past, present and emerging, and any other Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander peoples living and working in the MacKillop community.
