St Mary MacKillop College's Year 10 students and their teachers celebrated the annual Spring Zing event at the Tuggeranong Vikings in Greenway last Friday night.
The night involved music, fancy dress, dancing, food, drink, photo wall, lolly bar, and a lot of fun.
Students dressed to the theme ‘Shine like the stars’, with groups and individuals dressing as sports stars, musicians, movie characters, cultural icons, famous celebrities, and more! Meanwhile, a large number of staff dressed as MacKillop students.
The prizes for best dressed were awarded to students who dressed as Michael Jackson (best male), Medusa (best female), Peter Pan and Tinker Bell (best pair) and Disco (best group).
Thank you to all students for your good behaviour, enthusiasm, the efforts you made on your costumes, and the good spirit you brought to the occasion. It was truly a memorable occasion!

St Mary of the Cross MacKillop made the statement: “We are but travellers here, so while we are here we should do as much good as we can and live in peace with each other.”
With this in mind, the College respectfully acknowledges the Ngunnawal people who are the Traditional Custodians and First People of the land on which we gather each day. The College also pays its respects to the Elders past, present and emerging, and any other Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander peoples living and working in the MacKillop community.
