Open Night and the 'Teach at MacKillop' Event

St Mary MacKillop College invites current and future teachers considering MacKillop as a place of employment to the MacKillop Open Night on Monday 6 May 2024.
The event will have information for prospective employees of the College and will be held at the Junior Campus (Years 7 to 9). The event will double as an information session for parents and students who are seeking to enrol at the College.
Guests will have the chance to learn about career opportunities at MacKillop, our early career teacher mentoring program, teacher progression, and accommodation options in Canberra and Queanbeyan.

Attendees will need to book one of two sessions using the form below. The sessions will be held at the Padua Campus (Mackinnon Street, Wanniassa) at the following times:

  • 4.00pm-5.30pm
  • 6.00pm-7.30pm

For teachers travelling from interstate, the College will make contact with you after you submit the Registration Form below about supporting you with travel and accommodation requirements.

Breakfast and Tour of the Senior Campus

The College will also host a breakfast and tour of the Senior Campus (Years 10-12) on the morning of Tuesday 7 May 2024. This will provide further opportunities to ask questions, seek feedback, and view the facilities of our St Peter's Campus (Ellerston Avenue, Isabella Plains). It will be held at 8.15am.

When completing the form below, please indicate if you would like to attend the breakfast.

Acknowledgement of Country

St Mary of the Cross MacKillop made the statement: “We are but travellers here, so while we are here we should do as much good as we can and live in peace with each other.”

With this in mind, the College respectfully acknowledges the Ngunnawal people who are the Traditional Custodians and First People of the land on which we gather each day. The College also pays its respects to the Elders past, present and emerging, and any other Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander peoples living and working in the MacKillop community.
