The Year 12 Graduation events took place on Monday 1 December, commencing with the Graduation Mass and Perpetual Awards Ceremony in the morning at the St Peter’s Campus.
The Mass was celebrated by Fr Mark Ha of the Corpus Christi Parish, the same priest who said Mass at the Year 12 Retreat in Term 3. The music was provided by the College Chamber Choir and the readings were delivered by the College Executive. It was Year 12's final Eucharist together.
To conclude the Mass, Principal Michael Lee addressed the audience, where he thanked the parents and carers of Year 12 for having trust in the College and provided advice to the Class of 2025 in the form of a blessing.
After Mass, several students were presented with the College's Perpetual Awards. These awards recognise the outstanding contribution the recipients have made to the College during their time with us.
Elite Athlete Awards were also presented to Meaghann Scott and Nate Quigg.
Following the announcement of the award recipients, students left to prepare for their Formal and Graduation Ceremony, later in the evening.
Congratulations to the Class of 2025!

St Mary of the Cross MacKillop made the statement: “We are but travellers here, so while we are here we should do as much good as we can and live in peace with each other.”
With this in mind, the College respectfully acknowledges the Ngunnawal people who are the Traditional Custodians and First People of the land on which we gather each day. The College also pays its respects to the Elders past, present and emerging, and any other Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander peoples living and working in the MacKillop community.
