2018 student leaders elected

Year 11 students Thomas Couper-Logan and Sarah Purcell have been chosen as the 2018 College Captains following an election at the Isabella Campus.

Year 11 students and their teachers took to the voting booth after 18 candidates delivered impressive and engaging speeches at the special election assembly on Wednesday morning.

At the end of a closely-fought election, Thomas and Sarah emerged as College Captains, while Lochlan Hattch, Sophie Highmore, Ryan Badowski, and Elle Caldwell picked up the Portfolio positions for Sport, Performing Arts, Sustainability, and Faith and Community.

The 2017 College Captains, Grace Bowyer and Sam McDonough, urged the candidates who were not successful on the day to consider running for House Captain roles or to contribute by supporting the leadership team in their duties.

Congratulations to the following students who were voted by their peers and staff into leadership positions for 2018:

Girl College Captain: Sarah Purcell
Boy College Captain: Thomas Couper-Logan
Sports Captain: Lochlan Hattch
Performing Arts Captain: Sophie Highmore
Sustainability Captain: Ryan Badowski
Faith and Community Captain: Elle Caldwell

The College congratulates all candidates for the integrity, talent, and commitment that they brought to the application process - the nominees were of a very high standard.

The College will now hold elections for the House Captain positions, Wanniassa Campus Captains, and Student Representative Council roles for each year group.
