Congratulations to Anooj Lad, Ryan Walls, and James Maas who have been successful in progressing to the national finals of the Australian Chemical Analysis Competition.
The Year 12 students competed in the Royal Australian Chemical Institute’s Titration Stakes, held at the ANU’s Research School of Chemistry on Tuesday 25 July. They finished the competition in third place among 30 teams.
Titration is a laboratory method of quantitative chemical analysis that is used to determine the unknown concentration of an identified analyte.
Congratulations to the students and their teachers on this most distinguished achievement.

St Mary of the Cross MacKillop made the statement: “We are but travellers here, so while we are here we should do as much good as we can and live in peace with each other.”
With this in mind, the College respectfully acknowledges the Ngunnawal people who are the Traditional Custodians and First People of the land on which we gather each day. The College also pays its respects to the Elders past, present and emerging, and any other Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander peoples living and working in the MacKillop community.
