The Class of 2018 officially concluded their time at the College with the Graduation Formal on 7 December.
The Year 12 students arrived at the Australian Institute of Sport Arena in style, wearing stunning dresses and slick suits, and arriving in a range of vehicles, including sports cars, a fire truck, and even a wheelbarrow.
Prior to the three- course dinner, students were presented with their Graduation Certificates during the graduation ceremony as their families and friends watched on.
During his speech, Mr Lee said the following:
"The College roll has names from all parts of the world; the British Isles and Ireland, Western and Central Europe, Africa, the Middle East, the Subcontinent, Asia, the Pacific, and the Americas - names at MacKillop as new to Australia as last year and names as old as the Dreaming. Diversity is the strength of our school and inclusion is our challenge.
"Wherever you go and whoever you become, don’t forget where you came from and who you are – and never forget that, while you were here, you were respected, nurtured and loved!"
After the formalities, Year 12 took to the dance floor to enjoy each other’s company for one last time.
Students are to be congraulated on the energy and enthusiasm they brought to the celebration. What a night!

St Mary of the Cross MacKillop made the statement: “We are but travellers here, so while we are here we should do as much good as we can and live in peace with each other.”
With this in mind, the College respectfully acknowledges the Ngunnawal people who are the Traditional Custodians and First People of the land on which we gather each day. The College also pays its respects to the Elders past, present and emerging, and any other Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander peoples living and working in the MacKillop community.
